5 Things Every Inexperienced Traveler Needs
This is an exciting year for my husband and I as we are celebrating 20 years of marriage in May! I can’t believe how fast the years have gone by. Between the kids, life, and work, we have so much to be grateful for.
So this year we are headed back to Jamaica to have a second honeymoon and renew our wedding vows. The last time I was on a plane or even out of the country was for that trip. So much has changed with travel since then, that I consider myself completely inexperienced!
My husband travels a lot for work, so he is much more at ease with travel out-of-the-country. I tend to get overwhelmed thinking about it. So I took some time away and spent some time at Target in the travel aisle, and found 5 things every inexperienced traveler needs.
One of my biggest fears is having our identity stolen. My passport recently arrived, and I want to do whatever I can to keep it safe. Target has these wonderful RFID Travel Wallets for my husband’s credit cards. There is also a great one for your passports.
I also tend to be a habitual over packer, and with the airlines having rules about the amount of weight in your checked luggage, having a portable luggage scale is a MUST! I love how this is small enough to slip into my purse so that I can have it at all times.
And along the same line, these packing cubes are great to keep my luggage organized. Hopefully I can keep everything together and in one spot!
And I am always concerned about items being stolen out of my suitcase, so these TSA Approved Travel Locks are perfect. We can also use them to lock up valuables in our hotel room, too.
And last, but certainly not least, good quality travel bottles are a must. I hate lugging large bottles, and these are perfect. They meet the regulations for flying, as well.
So there you have it! Everything you need to have to make your next trip the best it can be. New to travel? No worries! Target has the 5 things every inexperienced traveler needs, and so much more!
