There are certain places you love to go in the fall, or really, for every season at least once. As for indoor places, we love the local displays at grocery stores of all things pumpkin and cinnamon. Target has that something special! Whether you’re looking for school clothes, like cozy flannels and funky jean jackets, Target is your place. Maybe you’re looking for all things edible-fall, like pumpkin coffee and candy corn. Target is your place. Perhaps beyond taste and clothes and decorations, what you’re really looking for is a home that smells cozily like fall? Target is your place, of course!

So we took ourselves, and our noses, to Target to sample, smell and test out all the wonderful things that will help make your home smell like fall for the season. Ready to find out what we liked best?

1. Pumpkin Pie Spice.

You will need this for all things fall this season, and boy does it make a house smell nice. Fall baking is one of the biggest pleasures of the season. In fact, we’ve heard that realtors bake cookies sometimes before open houses, so that the prospective home owners will feel all cozy and possible. Add this magical spice to pumpkin pie, pumpkin scones, and cupcakes. You can even add it to your coffee! We like to make sweet and spicy mixed nuts, and bake them in the oven. You can mix it into whipped cream, and even go savory – with pasta. And the breakfast possibilities are endless. Enjoy!

2. Fall candles.

3. A diffuser for fall.

We can put different ones in each room. And bonfire nights reminds us of homecoming games, autumn nights, and Halloween. Ahhh, so good!

4. Set up simmering spices on the stove.

No doubt, this is a powerful way to induce autumn smell! Set water, star anise, cinnamon sticks, vanilla, essential oils, evergreen and pine, and fresh fruit to simmer on your stove. Your house will smell amazing!

5. Bake cookies.
