January Check List: Get rid of stuff you don’t use printable
The new year always brings the desire to declutter our home. But it can be overwhelming to scan a room and not know where to start. The solution? A “January Check List: Get rid of stuff you don’t use printable” that will keep us focused and on task.
First, download and print our declutter list. We designed our printable with the goal of tackling one room at a time and focused on getting rid of unnecessary items we no longer use or need.
Then we started with the kitchen and figured out that we had accumulated random Tupperware, plastic dishes, and disposable food containers. Every few years, we replace our Tupperware and target’s options are infinite.
Next, the laundry room can be a “storage” area for cleaning supplies that don’t belong in this place.
The bathrooms can also have unnecessary stuff like expired medicines, gobs of old makeup and cleaning supplies that we stopped using a long time ago. Once we are organized, Target has a few “organizers” to consider.
Finally, the bedrooms can be a black hole for random books, knick-knacks, and outdated decor.
Underbed storage is useful for organizing extra bedding and thick blankets. Finally, the office den can also be a room where we dump items we don’t know where to store. Once the office/den is clean, these containers would work great!
Until next time!
