One Spot Items Turned into Planters
The One Spot, also known as Bulleye’s Playground is the mecca of grab-n-go seasonal products that costs just a couple of bucks. The stuff there is hard to resist, even if you really don’t need anything from it. I mean how do you resist another cute mug? The answer, find a clever use for it and put it in your shopping cart.
We’ve been pretty obsessed with succulents lately, air plants too. We wanted to make an arrangement that would look good on our patio table, something that didn’t take a lot of space, that needed minimal upkeep and was easy and affordable to make.
Here are some of the things we picked up at the One Spot that we were excited to try out as succulent holders. Everything minus the succulents we got at the One Spot at Target, although we’ve seen some plastic succulents at Target recently.
Some of the items may not be available in the One Spot anymore since they rotate merchandise. Don’t fret, this is more to give you an idea of what you can do and get creative with the items that you find.
We tried to get items that were generic and that we always see some variation of.
This little red pail was so cute. We picked red but it came in other colors too.
This little glass lantern holder is perfect as a succulent holder. We liked the size and the color.
Since the original plastic plant holder will show through the glass we picked up washi tape (One Spot has serious washi tape game!) to decorate the outside

Next up, little succulents in little grow kits. We’ve seen these grow kits many times in the One Spot so we hope you’ll find it too!
You can throw away the seeds or plant it in your garden. We really just wanted it for the tiny terra cotta pot.
This next one is the most playful. And how great that beach toys are so cheap at Target?!
Target has crazy cute mugs! You might not find this exact one but we guarantee there will be some darling mugs for you to snag at the One Spot.
We also found a cute tray at the One Spot, so we arranged the smaller planters together. to make an arrangement.
