Happy May! Before your Summer gets filled up with BBQ’s, summer camps and the such, get a head start on your bucket list with this fun Summer Bucket List Pin Board DIY.  We have put together a step by step tutorial for you, take a peek below.

Summer Bucket List Pin Board DIY Materials

1. Hand Made Modern Wood Sign
2. Magnetic Paper
3. Circle punch
4. Graph paper
5. White acrylic paint
6. Pink Cardstock
7. Glue

Summer Bucket List Pin Board DIY Tutorial

Step 1:

Paint the wood sign with two coats of white acrylic paint. Our photo shows one coat of paint.

Step 2:

Use graph paper to decorate each pallet of the wood sign. You can download the graph paper that we used from here. Cut the graph paper to fit each pallet and glue it with mod podge glue.

Step 3:

Add a geometric element to the pin board with a pink triangle. Use pink card stock and cut a triangle to fit the pin board’s pallets.

Step 4:

Time to make circle magnets! Using a 1.5″ circle punch, punch the magnetic paper like you would any other paper. The magnetic paper we used has a “sticky” side and once you have all the circles cut, stick each circle like shown in our photo.

Step 5:

Use different magnets to hold paper notes, photos, reminders on each magnetic circle.

Get creative with the elements you can add to the pinboard. Ours is already filling up, and we can’t wait to get through our Summer bucket list.
