A healthy Chocolate Smoothie for breakfast? Yes, please!!! You can now enjoy this chocolate smoothie guilt-free. It’s Sugar-Free, Vegan & Gluten-Free. It’s loaded with the good stuff and is a glass full of nutrition. You can’t go wrong with this one. It’s a kid’s favorite too. It’s thick and creamy, literally tastes like a shake. To enjoy the health benefits of this smoothie, reach out for the natural cacao powder, a banana, hazelnut butter (I made my own, you can use any nut butter), dates and almond milk. Garnish it with some unsweetened baking chocolate sprinkles and raspberries & your done. Easy right!!!

What I love about this smoothie is that except for the Cacao powder, almost every other ingredient is minimally processed. I make my own nut butters and nut milks, using NutraMilk. So I know the ingredients I am adding to this smoothie are free of additives and refined sugars. Also my son loves anything chocolate, he is 5. So off late I have started to use dates to sweeten food than refined sugar and it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. So it’s a win-win for both me and my son. The husband loves Chocolate too, so my son wants to make this smoothie with me for his Dad on Valentine’s Day. I liked his idea as he loves to engage with me in the kitchen. Surely it brings him closer to food and is generally more aware than other kids his age about eating healthy.
