I love incorporating fresh ingredients, like berries, into my beauty recipes. Not only do fresh ingredients make recipes more appealing, they also boost the beauty benefit of handmade products. Strawberries, for example, contain gentle acids that can help brighten your skin – an excellent addition to a body scrub!

DIY Strawberry Ginger Sugar Scrub

I packaged my scrubs in mason jars decorated with glitter tape. The pint-sized containers held two batches of scrub each! That’s a lot of scrub. Next time I would probably go with something smaller, like a 4-ounce jelly jar.
